I am so glad you stopped by to get to know me. You will quickly see I am passionate about education and ensuring each child is given the opportunity to succeed to the best of their ability.

I taught public school at the elementary level in both Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools as a classroom teacher and later joining the administrative team as a School Based Technology Specialist. I hold an active teaching license with four endorsements: pre-kindergarten through sixth grade general education, instructional technology, social science for grades sixth through eighth, and English language learner’s kindergarten through twelfth grade. I hold additional certifications as an IEW instructor, Responsive Classroom instructor, and more! 

 

When I decided to stay home with my first child (I now have three boys) I lead and taught a preschool co-op and later taught for another well-established homeschool co-op. During this time, I earned a deeper and well-rounded understanding of homeschooling and realized there was so much more to homeschool than what you see on reality television. My husband and I decided to try out homeschooling for our own family, and it has been a wonderful fit. We are so thankful for this journey!

In addition to homeschooling my three energetic boys, I teach at local co-ops and virtually around the country, along with offering tutoring and small group classes online and in person. I currently offer educational consulting services for students elementary through high school and offer assessments. I conduct end of year proof of progress evaluations for those living and homeschooling in the state of Virginia.
