On a Treasure Hunt

As an adult I love a treasure hunt and my kids are no different! Using our Experience Early Learning curriculum we went on a treasure hunt!

I started by creating a map for them to use and follow.

The treasure: yummy sea animals to make a special beach themed snack! The kids then created their own maps!

The toddler practiced recognizing shapes using the fun cut outs provided by EEL! We also practiced recognizing colors using fun gems! You can find these plastic gems at your local craft store or Oriental Trading.
