Do you want to build a snowman?

This cold weather prompted the use of snowmen!

The first graders sorted snowballs into noun, verb, and adjective snowmen. They then used a few of those words to write a story. This helped practice common words, blend and do graphs, and grammar.

The prek/kindergartners sorted words that begin with j and g (listening for the beginning sound). We will work on k/c and w/y later this week!

PS- that is dry erase marker on the window! Easy to clean off! We use all the surfaces here! :)
